Kidambi Srikanth to play his semifinal match in Hong Kong open

In the Hong Kong Open badminton tournament, ace Indian shuttler Kidambi Srikanth will face Lee Cheuk-Yiu of Hong Kong in the Men’s Singles semifinals today.

Lee stunned former badminton world number one Viktor Axelsen 21-14, 21-19 to storm into the semi-finals yesterday. Earlier, Srikanth entered the semifinals of the men’s singles event after fifth seed Chen Long of China decided to quit the contest owing to an injury.
