Kerala extends lockdown till June 16th as COVID cases continue to surge. The State recorded 9,313 fresh cases of COVID in the last 24 hours with test positivity rate at 13.2 per cent. There were 21,921 recoveries reported, taking the active caseload of the State to 1,47,830.
Also, 221 deaths were confirmed of COVID today. This takes the total death toll of the State to 10,157. More than 70,000 samples have been tested in the last 24 hours.
