Thiruvananthapuram: BJP state president K. Surendran has raised an allegation against another official in the Chief Minister’s office.
The BJP leader alleged that C. M. Raveendran, an additional private secretary in the CM’s office, is involved in illegal dealings along with former IT Secretary M. Sivasankar and Arun Balachandran. Surendran added that Raveendran is a main advocate of illegal dealings.
The CM’s office has become the hub of the smuggling team looting the state treasury. People including Sivasankar and Raveendran have major transactions based in the CM’s office. The CM’s office is housing several middlemen who helped several labour contract societies gain millions of rupees as illegal profit.
Pinarayi Vijayan must tell the public what all Sivasankar has done for his daughter’s IT firm. People want to know if Sivasankar’s service had helped the firm owned by the CM’s daughter. Pinarayi Vijayan must open up to the public about this.
Surendran also questioned why the Kerala police is not registering a case against Sivasankar, who publicly helped the gold smuggling case accused. The BJP leader said that CPI (M) state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrisnan must understand that actions by the CM’s office is leading to the government’s debacle.

Large-scale corruption and fraud is taking place in the cargo handling at Thiruvananthapuram airport. The CM has taken a stance that nothing needs to be investigated. Pinarayi Vijayan not resigning even though the gold smuggling case investigation has reached his office is a defiance against the public.
