JCI THIRUVANANTHAPURAM a chapter of Junior Chamber International initiated a helping hand
“PRAANAVAAYU CHALLENGE” for the Trivandrum Medical College Hospital Covid patients during the
harsh second wave.
JCI THIRUVANANTHAPURAM had taken on the mammoth responsibility of
donating 101 non vented oronasal masks with non invasive ventilation which is a life saver for a
Covid patient under critical care. This mask manufactured by DRAGER company imported from
Germany costed approximately Rs.5600/- per piece in the market and was elusive to the needy.
101 masks were handed over by Sri.V.Sivankutty, Hon’ble Minister for General Education and Labour
to Dr. Mohan Roy , RMO, Trivandrum Medical College Hospital in the presence of Jc.Adv.Varsha
Menon, President , JCI Thiruvananthapuram, Jc.Harish Nair, Secretary, Jc.Sreelatha Pradeep,
