J & K police file charge-sheet against Sopore local for hiding terrorists

Jammu and Kashmir police had arrested a Sopore resident, Abdul Wadood Lone, in June 2016, for allegedly harbouring two terrorists associated with the banned Hizbul Mujahideen.

Now, having investigated the case, they have filed a chargesheet against Lone in a local court.

Lone has his residence at Bomai in Sopore, where he allegedly provided shelter to two Hizbul terrorists, identified as Altaf Ahmad Mir and Imtiyaz Ahmad Lone.

Police said that they filed the charge-sheet against Abdul Wadood Lone, resident of Najar Mohalla, Bomai, in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sopore. They got the required government sanction and completed all other departmental formalities. The charge sheet is about providing shelter to terrorists in a residence in Bomai.
