IT Ministry opens account on domestic micro-blogging site Koo

The Ministry of Electronics and IT and some other government departments have opened their accounts on the domestic micro-blogging site Koo. The domestic company gave this information.

This step has been taken after Twitter did not comply with the government’s instructions to ban certain tweets and accounts.Koo said that he has done the ministry of electronics and IT, My Village, Digital India, India Post, National Informatics Center (NIC), National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology, Common Service Center, Umang App, Digi Locker, National Internet Exchange of India, The handle of the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC) has been verified.

Koo said in a statement, ‘Some leading organizations in the Ministry of Electronics and IT have opened their accounts on Ku, India’s own micro-blogging site. The move is a strategic backlash against Twitter. Twitter did not comply with the government’s directive to ban 257 tweets and Twitter accounts. Through this, tweets related to farmer massacre were tweeted.

Koo is an alternative app to Twitter , built for Indians in order to be able to share their views using Indian languages . This website and app won the AatmaNirbhar innovation challenge and is a Made in India service as per the vision of PM Narendra Modi .

Previoulsy Koo was declared as an AatmaNirbhar App and it also won the AatmaNirbhar App Innovation challenge . This was held by the Indian government in August 2020. PM Narendra Modi has also encouraged Indians for using the Koo App during his Mann Ki Baat speech . Just like you would do in Twitter , you can follow anyone in India who you find interesting . Famous personalities like Sadhguru , Ravi Shankar Prasad , Anil Kumble , Javagal Srinath and many more make use of this Koo app to express themselves every day .
