Intelligence asks Mumbai to be on high alert

Even as India got into a celebrating mood after the Indian Air Force bombed the Pakistani terrorist camps across the border, authorities have asked the country and its citizens to be very alert.

In Mumbai, the Maharashtra government has advised the School and Company Bus Owners Association to ensure the safety of school children.

Chief Minister Devendra Phadnavis informed the state legislature that his government has tightened security across the city. He appealed to people not to panic.

The Indian intelligence advised the Mumbai police to be on high alert. Accordingly, vigilance and CCTV surveillance has been increased in bus and railway stations, airports and other important locations.
