Indian Oil says fuel supplies remain stable across retail network, no shortage reported

Indian Oil Corporation Limited has informed that fuel supplies across the retail network remain stable and there is no shortage of fuel in the country. In a social media post, Indian Oil clarified that it has not issued any instructions for rationing of fuels at retail outlets and supply operations are continuing smoothly nationwide. It added that the recent rise in demand is mainly due to higher diesel consumption during the harvesting season.

IndianOil also added that additional demand pressure has emerged because customers are shifting to Indian Oil retail outlets owing to comparatively lower prices than private retailers. It also noted a visible shift of institutional and commercial consumers towards retail fuel outlets. Indian Oil has appealed to customers to avoid panic buying and rely only on official communication channels for accurate updates. Indian Oil reiterated its commitment to ensuring reliable fuel availability across the country.
