IMD Predicts Heavy Rainfall Over Assam, Meghalaya & Arunachal Pradesh For Next 6 Days

The India Meteorological Department has forecast very heavy to extremely heavy rainfall over parts of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand today. As the well-marked low-pressure area over northeastern Madhya Pradesh and the surrounding region is expected to re-intensify into a depression over central parts of north Madhya Pradesh and adjoining Uttar Pradesh.

The weather department has also predicted heavy rainfall over Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh for the next 6 days. Similar weather conditions are also expected over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim and Bihar till 14th September. The IMD also forecast heavy rainfall in Chhattisgarh from 14th to 16th September. Meanwhile, several parts of Delhi received light rainfall today. According to IMD, the national capital is expected to witness a generally cloudy sky with moderate rainfall for the next six days.
