Punjab’s Cabinet Minister Navjot Singh Sidhu reveals that Congress President Rahul Gandhi wants him to visit Pakistan. Though the Chief Minister Amarinder Singh disapproved Sidhu’s visit to Pakistan, he was provided a special plane to bring sidhu to Amrister from Madhya Pradesh so that he can leave Pakistan.
There was an earlier controversy with Sidhu when he attended the oath-taking ceremony of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and hugged Pakistan Army chief General Bajwa.
Navjot Singh Sidhu said that Congress President Rahul Gandhi was his ‘Captain’ who had asked him to attend the Foundation laying Ceremony of Kartarpur Corridor at Pakistan. He also added that his Captain (Rahul Gandhi) was the Captain’s (Amarinder Singh,an Army Captain) Captain.
