Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President J. P. Nadda will be on a three-day visit to Assam from today, October 7 to take part in various events. AIR correspondent reports that both the leaders will take part in the party’s state core committee meeting in Guwahati this evening.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP President J P Nadda will reach Guwahati today evening and will take part in the party’s state core committee meeting. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Union ministers Sarbananda Sonowal and Rameshwar Teli, and state BJP President Bhabesh Kalita will also take part in the meeting.
Tomorrow, October 8, both leaders will inaugurate the party’s new state office at Basistha Chariali in Guwahati.
Later, they will address a rally of over 45 thousand party workers at Khanapara in Guwahati. The Union Home Minister will also take part in the North East Council’s meeting in Guwahati and SP’s conference to be held at Dergaon in Golaghat district on Sunday, October 9.
