HM Amit Shah lays foundation stone for National Forensic Science University at Dharbandora in Goa

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that forensic teams need to be strengthened in order to curb crimes. He was speaking at Dharbandora in Goa after laying the foundation stone for the National Forensic Science University NFSU. The Home Minister added that India will shine only through education and in this perspective Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been making relentless efforts. Mr Shah announced that 5 courses accommodating 200 students will be soon started in the University. He also urged NFSU to commence courses related to tourism, drug and narcotics, and coastal policing.

The Home Minister informed that chartered flights will commence to Goa from October 15 and this initiative taken by Prime Minister Modi will certainly boost the tourism of the state. The Home Minister said, the pace of development of Goa will accelerate after completion of Mopa international airport.
Lauding the state for all round development, he said, it was possible due to political stability. Stating that former Goa CM Manohar Parrikar gave the state its identity, the Home Minister said that former Defence Minister Parrikar will remembered by the nation for 2 things – One Rank One Pension (OROP) and the surgical strike.
