Himachal Pradesh government will launch Covid vaccination drive for 18 to 44 age group today. For this, 213 centers have been made across the state where vaccination will be carried out. today, the first dose of Covid vaccine will be given to 21090 individuals of the state who have registered online for vaccination in this category. To avoid unnecessary crowds at these centers, the State government appealed to all the individuals to come at the vaccination center as per their schedule only.
Vaccination will be given only to those who have booked their schedule on the COWIN portal beforehand. There will be no onsite scheduling for the age group of 18-44. It may be recalled that the state has recently received 1,07,620 doses of Covishield vaccine from the Serum Institute of India, Pune for this category.
The next date of vaccination for 18-44 years will be on 20th of this month and sessions for that day will be published on the COWIN portal on 18th of this month.
