Heavy Rain Predicted in South India; NW, Central India to Heat Up

The India Meteorological Department, IMD has forecast heavy rainfall at isolated places over Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Mahe, Puducherry and Karaikal today. The weather agency said, there will be gradual rise in maximum temperature by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius over Northwest and Central India during next two to three days.

Meanwhile, IMD also predicted isolated rainfall or snowfall over Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand for the next two days. Furthermore, condition of squally weather is expected over parts of southwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining Equatorial Indian Ocean, along and off Kerala coast, Lakshadweep, Comorin area and Gulf of Mannar today.
