On March 8, Delhi Police arrested a Kashmiri couple, Jahanzaib Sami Wani (36), and his wife, Hina Bashir Beg(39) with links to the Islamic State’s Wilayat Khorasan Province module, also known as the Islamic State of Khorasan Province (ISKP) with four mobiles, external hard discs and other incriminating material from Jamia Nagar of National capital. The police said, “couple were planning ‘lone-wolf’ attacks in Delhi and also, were running a social media handle “Indian Muslims Unite,” with an aim to exploit the ongoing agitation against CAA in order to incite young Muslim men and women to carry out terror strikes. They were in the process of trying to recruit Muslims, by brainwashing them.
The couple Wani and Beg had left Kashmir valley for higher education. Wani got a BTech degree and post-graduate degree in management. Beg had a bachelors in computer applications and a masters in business administration from Pune. Arrest of Islamic State couple has opened can of worms in forms of disturbing questions. Who internally supported riots at Jamia Milia Islamia and who has been sponsoring the logistics of Shaheen Bagh?
Up to what extent, a common citizen and especially a student can go to protest against an act like CAA passed by both houses in parliament, if he exercises RIGHT TO PROTEST? After collecting his peers, who are also agitating against the act, he would form a crowd and sit on dharna holding placards with anti act slogans. Or to leverage more pressure on the government, the crowd would sit on hunger strike.
But, can a crowd consisting of common citizens go on destructing and burning cities across India until they are provided logistic, financial and legal support by a hidden source? How can naive students of Jamia Milia and Islamia go on a rampage, wreaking havoc and destruction in Delhi city? A student is more concerned about his future. Who backed Jamia’s students to pelt stone at cops and burn DTC buses jeopardising future career and profession?
There were self proclaimed liberal Bollywood actors and actresses, left leaning journalists and educators who blatantly declared their allegiance to Shaheen Bagh. A disturbing question arises, “Weren’t they strengthening agenda and ideology of Islamic State, which had, urged Indian Muslims on Telegram and WhatsApp,
to take up arms and overthrow the Narendra Modi government. The Islamic State handle had further urged the Indian Muslims to fight to establish a Caliphate and impose Sharia Law in India.
It goes without saying that the murder of Ankit Sharma, the IB staffer was also part of a larger conspiracy to send out a message to the establishment. It is open secret that highly radicalised Muslim women at Shaheen Bagh have been paid to continue with the protests. It makes no sense for them to protest the CAA, which does not affect a single Indian Muslim.
Common citizens are appalled to ask if those who supported anti CAA were working to establish Caliphate and impose Sharia Law in India……
