GST Bachat Utsav, which was announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and commenced on the 22nd of last month, is benefiting all sections of society. Meanwhile, Delhi’s hospitality and tourism sector has gained from the new reforms.

Hotel rooms priced below 7,500 rupees per night will now attract only 5% GST instead of 12%. The reduced GST rates are set to boost Delhi’s economy by not only providing immediate relief to consumers, especially in the upcoming festive seaso,n but also setting a path for long-term benefits such as more jobs and markets.
