Govt. is spending over Rs. 26,000 crore to provide 4G mobile services to nearly 25,000 uncovered villages in India

The Government is spending over 26 thousand crore rupees to provide 4G mobile services to nearly 25 thousand uncovered villages in the country. In addition, over six thousand villages having only 2G or 3G services shall be upgraded to 4G. Minister of State for Communications Devusinh Chauhan said 93 percent villages in the country are covered with 3G and 4G Mobile broadband services. He said, by next year all the villages in the country shall be connected under the National Broadband Mission.
