Government imposes restrictions on export of AmphotericinB injections

The government on Tuesday imposed curbs on export of Amphotericin-B injections that are used for treatment of mucormycosis or black fungus infections.

The government has imposed restrictions on the export of Amphotericin-B injections. The antifungal injections are used in the treatment of Mucormycosis, known as Black Fungus.

In a notification issued by the Directorate General of Foreign Trade, the Amphotericin-B injections have been put in the restricted from free category.
