In Himachal Pradesh, fresh snowfall is being experienced at high altitude areas since last night whereas several areas in middle and low hills including state capital Shimla witnessed rain. Snowfall and rain have lowered the temperature in the state.
Light snowfall was experienced in higher reaches of Lahaul-Spiti, Kinnaur, Chamba, Kullu and Kangra districts. Meteorological Department has forecast rain at many places of middle hills while snowfall at high peaks during the next 24 hours.
