The internet has a lot of bizarre videos and pictures that go viral from time to time. Besides animal and challenge videos, weird food items and combinations often garner a lot of attention from social media users, mainly because many consider them to be a direct attack on their palate.
Bizarre food combos have become a trend in the past few years. In fact, many have even gone viral on social media from time to time.
Food experiments are understandable and appreciated by many. But bringing together two completely contrasting delicacies for a ‘combo’ can only make ardent food lovers feel repulsive.
Kiwi pizza, ice cream vada pav, chocolate Maggi, gulab jamun pancakes, and Maggi pani puri are some of the ‘blasphemous’ combos that have gone viral on social media in the past few months.
But just when you think that netizens are finally relieved of such horror, there comes along another weird dish.
A video shared on a Facebook page shows a food blogger reviewing a type of rice that has rosogolla in it.
At the start of the video, she asks her viewers to guess the food item on display. After a few seconds, and much to the horror of the viewers, she says the round objects are rosogollas, that have been added to Biryani rice.

“It sounds unbelievable? But I just had the ‘ Angoori Rosogolla Biriyani ‘ along with Hara Bhara Kebab, Aloo Chaap, and Dahi ka Chutney ( along with Raita and vinegar-soaked Peyaaz ) and Firni,” the post is captioned.
Since being shared, the post has received over 900 shares and lakhs of views.
While some netizens said the combo looks interesting, many were simply repulsed and disgusted by the presence of rosogolla in biryani.
