On 17 Aug 2021, Fire broke out onboard a fishing boat near Kovalam, off Chennai, due to electrical short circuit in engine room.
Indian Coast Guard ship and helicopter were pressed into action for rendering assistance.
Fire was doused by Indian Coast Guard ship. All 10 crew are safe.
