Barely a few days after the ban of popular Battle Royale game PlayerUnknown’s BattleGrounds (PUBG) in India, nCore is all set to launch a homegrown multi-player action player game called FAU-G sometime around October this year.
FAU-G has already been trending on the internet for a few days now and garnered a lot of eyeballs because of the uncanny resemblance of its name with PUBG, which is no longer available to download in the country.
Here’s everything we know about FAU-G game so far.
- FAU-G is a multiplayer action game that has been created under the guidance of Akshay Kumar, who recently shared the poster of the game and said, “Besides entertainment, players will also learn about the sacrifices of our soldiers.”
- The game’s first level will be set in the Galwan Valley backdrop followed by third-person shooting gameplay in the subsequent releases. The game will be made available both on the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store.
- FAU-G is short for ‘Fearless and United: Guards’. It based on real scenarios encountered by the Indian Security Forces to deal with both domestic and foreign threats.
- 20 per cent of the net revenue generated from this game will be donated to Bharat Ke Veer Trust that supports the families of India’s armed forces martyrs.
- nCore Games Co-Founder and Chairman, Vishal Gondal, say “nCore team has in-depth experience in different genres specially mid-core games. We managed genre-defining MOBA games like Vainglory of SuperEvil Megacorp for the worldwide audience.”
