Eagle Hills Diyar, the pioneer behind the iconic Marassi Al Bahrain development, has announced that it has signed up Bahrain Cinema Company (Cineco) as the official movie provider for the Marassi Galleria.
The much-awaited Marassi Galleria Mall is expected to be completed by the first half of 2021 and will encompass a multi-screen cinema with 13 screens and have an area of 3,750 sq m. Marassi Galleria is set to become the centrepiece of the Marassi Al Bahrain development with a gross floor area of 200,000 sq. m and 560 retail outlets to be distributed over 3 levels. The mall will also be home to a 2,400 sq m aquarium and a VR Theme Park, a Trampoline Park, as well as other Leisure & Entertainment attractions to be announced in due course, allowing visitors of all ages to enjoy an experience unlike any other while satisfying their ever-growing appetite for a wider selection of leisure options.

Alongside the Luxury Courtyard which will provide a high-end shopping and dining experience complete with premium facilities such as dedicated valet parking and a drop off zone, Marassi Galleria will feature the Wedding District, a first of its kind in the region, where visitors can find wedding planners, florists, beauty salons & spas, perfumes & cosmetics, and high-end home furnishings.
On the partnership, Cineco‘s CEO and Managing Director Ahmed Rashed Al Bastaki, said: “It is with great pride that we expand our portfolio of offerings to include Marassi Galleria, as it is set to become a leading tourism, hospitality, shopping and entertainment destination in the kingdom due to it being the first mall of its kind situated on the waterfront. Marassi Galleria is also set to include five interconnected lifestyle urban districts, each with a theme tailored to suit a specific customer profile. The first district is the High-street, which will integrate lifestyle shopping and F&B concepts with street performance and other bespoke activities, while the Family Plaza will feature Leisure & Entertainment zones for kids of all ages to enjoy in a safe environment whilst their parents look-on from nearby cafes, said the developer. The Waterfront Dining Promenade stretching between Address Marassi Al Bahrain and the Vida Marassi Al Bahrain hotels will also provide visitors with a number of enjoyable entertainment options, it added.
