The Government has said that the Covid-19 recovery rate in the country has crossed 85 per cent with more than 82 thousand patients recovering in the last 24 hours.
The Health Ministry said, total number of recoveries has now reached over 57 lakh 44 thousand. The high rate of recoveries has positioned India as the top country in the world with maximum number of recovered cases.
The constantly increasing recovery rate ensured that the actual caseload of the country is reduced considerably and currently comprises only 13.44 per cent of the total positive cases. Presently, the total number of active cases in the country is nine lakh seven thousand and Case Fatality Rate stands at 1.55 per cent, which is one of the lowest globally.
