The Congress party, which has been incessantly accusing Prime Minister Narendra Modi about one issue or the other, did yet another attempt to do so.
The Rahul-led party has accused Modi of taking photographs in the Jim Corbett National Park, in the first few hours after the Pulwama attack on the afternoon of 14 February, which claimed the lives of over 40 CRPF soldiers travelling in a convoy from Jammu to Srinagar.
However, it was later confirmed that Modi took the wildlife photos before 2pm and the media reported his visit at 2pm. The PM spent only about 30 minutes in the forest area and had returned from his visit before the verified information about the Pakistani terrorist attack in Pulwama may have reached him.
This will only add to the ever-growing list of lies that the Congress president keeps peddling.
However, on the day of the Pulwama attack, just hours after the attack, at around 4:45pm the Congress had posted a video of Rahul dancing at a political rally in Gujarat. The tweet read, “An incredible amount of love and support showered on Congress President @RahulGandhi in Valsad, Gujarat after his rally.”
This implied that Rahul was seen dancing AFTER his political rally. According to reports, he started his speech at around 3:18pm and then danced after the political rally. He appeared as if he was making merry AFTER the Pulwama terror attack.
This is not the first time that Rahul has been caught on the wrong foot. He was reportedly partying with his friends at a Delhi farmhouse just after the 26/11 terror attacks in Mumbai.
Rahul was in Gujarat as part of Jan Aakrosh Rally. Rahul had tweeted something and the party has now deleted it.
Rahul has often been criticised for his conduct during the wreath-laying ceremony for the martyred soldiers at Palam Air Base in New Delhi. While leaders of other parties stood in silence, Rahul was browsing using his mobile phone.
Congress deleted the tweet where @rahulgandhi was dancing even after the #PulwamaAttack. WHY? ?? pic.twitter.com/plVefiHz8f
