The Congress legislators camping at the Eagleton Resorts at Bidadi were reportedly partying close to midnight on Saturday. When the drinks started taking effect, legislators Anand Singh, Ganesh and BhimaNayak started quarrelling among themselves. Ganesh hit Anand on the head with a bottle.
Anand Singh was admitted to Apollo Hospitals at Sheshadripuram, with injuries to his head, shoulders and abdomen. With blood clot in his right eye, he is not in a position to give a statement, doctors treating him told the police officers.
Meanwhile, despite prominent Congress leaders in Karnataka tried hard to conceal the reason, but they failed miserably to conceal the truth, which came out.
