Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has declared that a caste-based counting will be undertaken in Bihar. The decision was taken after a consensus was reached in an all-party meeting chaired by him yesterday.
Talking to reporters after the meeting Nitish Kumar said, it was unanimously decided that a caste-based counting will be done in a set time frame.
He said, soon a cabinet decision will be taken in this regard and it will be available in the public domain. Mr Kumar said the state government will bear the cost of the exercise.
