Centre, Tripura Govt, NLFT And ATTF To Sign MoU In New Delhi Today

Memorandum of Settlement will be signed among the central and Tripura governments, representatives of the National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT) and the All Tripura Tiger Force (ATTF) in New Delhi today in the presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Chief Minister of Tripura Manik Saha and senior officials of the Home Ministry and Tripura government will also be present during the signing of the Memorandum of Settlement.

correspondent reports that the Home Ministry has been working tirelessly to fulfil Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed Northeast that is free from extremism, violence, and conflict. The Centre has signed 12 important agreements to bring peace and prosperity in the Northeast. Of them, the three agreements are related to Tripura. Around ten thousand people have given up arms and joined mainstream due to the signing of several agreements by the Narendra Modi government.
