Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar said that the Centre is ready to discuss with protesting farmers on the new farm laws. Talking to news persons in Guwahati, Mr. Tomar said that the government would discuss clause by clause if the farmers demanded.
He said that much emphasis has been given in the agri sector in the budget. Mr. Tomar who is also the party’s election in charge for Assam said that BJP would come back to power in the state with more seats due to the pro incumbency. The senior BJP leader said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given priority for the development of North East region.
On the issue of seat sharing with alliance partners, Mr Tomar said that the party’s central leadership would take a call on this.
