Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that every effort being made in the new India is creating a legacy for the future generations. Addressing a gathering after inaugurating and laying the foundation stone for projects worth over Rs 13,000 crore at Tarabh in Mehsana on Thursday, Mr Modi said, the roads and railways being built today are the roadways to developed India. Reiterating the commitment of his government towards development, the Prime Minister said, Modi Guarantee aims to bring about change in the lives of the people at the bottom of society. He said, along with the development, his government is also stressing on conservation of the heritage.
The projects that were inaugurated today include the launch of Bharat Net Phase-II – Gujarat Fibre Grid Network Limited, which will provide high-speed internet to more than 8,000 gram panchayats. Besides, multiple projects for rail line doubling, gauge conversion, new broad-gauge line in districts of Mahesana and Banaskantha, multiple road projects in Kheda, Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, and Mahesana were also launched on the occasion. During the program, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone of several important projects including multiple road projects in Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad, Banaskantha, and Mahesana; the Runway of Air Force Station, Deesa, Gujarat Biotechnology Research Centre (GBRC)’s new building at GIFT city among others.
