BRAVE CF European takeover includes signing the biggest prospects in the continent

BRAVE Combat Federation, the promotion founded by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Hamad Al Khalifa, is growing in Europe and president Mohammed Shahid never hid that this expansion was one of the main goals of the promotion for 2020.

Earlier this January, during a press conference in Slovenia, when the Bahrain-based promotion hosted its first show in Europe in the year, Mr. Shahid was vocal about the organization’s intentions.

“Coming into 2020, one of our goals is to impact the European MMA scene”, he stated in the occasion. “If you want to make a sport global, Europe absolutely has to be involved. We will bring a huge global presence as BRAVE Combat Federation to the entire continent”.

The strategy seems to be in motion, and at full speed, since recently the promotion announced nothing less than seven more events in European soil until October, including debuts in Sweden, Poland, and Belgium.

But it’s not only a matter of extending the events footprints through the European continent but also, and mostly, about signing the biggest prospects in the continent, giving them an international platform, and developing the region level.

Among the athletes recently signed by BRAVE CF, or the ones who were in the roster and had their contracts extended, names such as Benoit St. Denis, Amin Ayoub, Mario Saeed, Shoaib Yousaf, Sam Patterson, and the two-time IMMAF World Champion Muhammad Mokaev stand out and show how serious the promotion is about its goals. They join the likes of well-established stars such as Abdoul Abdouraguimov, Carl Booth, and Tahar Hadbi.

The list of prospects and veterans is expected to grow within the next months, with the visits to Europe intensifying and the amount of interest generated growing exponentially.

Such a virtuous circle tends not only to place BRAVE CF as a key player within the European scene but solidify the promotion’s vocation to find and breed talent, promoting the development of the sport of Mixed Martial Arts.
