International Tennis Federation (ITF) has announced that India will host the Billie Jean King Cup 2025 play-offs for the first time in November this year. The ITF made this announcement while revealing the draws in London. India is among the seven countries to host the play-offs between the 14th to 16th of November at the SM Krishna Tennis Stadium in Bengaluru. Other than India, Argentina, Australia, Croatia, Germany, Mexico and Poland have also been selected as hosts.
India, drawn in Group G alongside Slovenia and the seventh-seeded Netherlands, will host their group matches. The three teams will face each other in round-robin matches, after which the group winners will advance to the 2026 Qualifiers.
The Billie Jean King Cup, formerly known as the Fed Cup, is one of the most prestigious international tennis events for women. It brings together top-ranked players from different countries to compete in a team format.
