BCCI Wants IPL 2022 To Be Held In India Without Crowd: Report

IPL 2022 Mega Auction will reportedly take place in the month of February and developments related to the cash-rich tournament are unfolding one after another.

The toughest challenge for the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is to conduct the tournament in a safe environment.

Keeping in mind the well-being of cricketers, supporting staff and other stakeholders amid Covid-19 scare.

As per news agency ANI, BCCI wants to hold the marquee event in India without any spectators i.e inside empty stadiums, but only if the COVID-19 subsides in the country.

The report also suggests that the likely venues for the mega tournament are Wankhede Stadium, Cricket Club of India (CCI), DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai & Pune if needed.
