At Least 5 Civilians Injured in Grenade Attack in Srinagar Market

Five civilians were injured a grenade attack in Srinagar’s Hari Singh High Street .

Five civilians were injured a grenade attack in Srinagar’s Hari Singh High Street Market on Saturday, 12 October, a few hundred metres away from the city centre Lal Chowk.

The explosion also damaged the windows of a car, officials told PTI. The shops in the market were shut but a few vendors had set up stalls in the area.

All injured have been taken to a local hospital and are said to be stable. The area has been cordoned off and further searches and investigation are underway.
