“Amma Kalavidaru Bahrain” has been one of the frontline cultural organisations in Bahrain. It has been organising social, religious and arts-related events.
It organised “Sri Shaneshchara Pooja”, “Sri Satyanarayana Pooja” and special Bhajane mahotsava with grandeur, at Sri Krishna Temple Hall in Manama city, Bahrain. Hundreds of devotees attended this religious event and sought the blessings of the Gods.
Sri Harsha Bhat Peruvai, who arrived from Karnataka state, India, conducted the pooja formalities, followed by legend stories and religious discourse. He concluded these by blessing the devotees.
Teams of men, women and children sang the religious songs with rhythmic dances (Kunita Bhajane). Smt. Harini Utkarsh Shetty, Namita Salian, Yakshit Shetty, Divyaraj Rai, Sandeep Mendon, Sudheer Shetty helped by providing the Bhajane training.
After Mangalarati and distribution of prasada formalities, the organisers held a special “anna prasada” lunch On this occasion, “Amma Kalavidaru Bahrain” chief coordinator Sri Mohanadas Rai Erumbu, coordinator Sri Doomanna Rai, Santosh Nayak, Lakshmish Kumble, Sunil Pujari, Yakshit Shetty, Sandeep Mendon, Divyaraj Rai, Ram Prasad altogether felicitated the priest Sri Harsha Bhat Peruvai with a shawl and memento.
Chief Coordinator Mohandas Rai Erumbu thanked the coordinators, volunteers, staff members, Bhajane team members, sponsors and all the devotees for contributing to the success of this pooja and cultural programme.
