Amarnath Yatra 2019: Over one lakh 21 thousand pilgrims pay obeisance at Shivling till date

Since the start of annual Amarnath pilgrimage, over one lakh 21 thousand pilgrims paid obeisance at Shivling at Holy Cave shrine in South Kashmir Himalayas.

On the 9th day of the ongoing Yatra yesterday, over 9 thousand 5 hundred devotees had a darshan at the Holy Cave. The 46 day Yatra commenced on July 01 and will conclude on August 15 coinciding with Raksha Bandhan and Shravan Purnima.

Meanwhile, yaatris who fell sick while embarking on Yatra are being taken care of by the authorities. In all, 9 critically sick Yatris have been air lifted by the Shrine Board in collaboration with State divisional administration Kashmir for immediate specialized treatment.
