The air quality in Delhi was recorded in the very poor category today.
According to air quality monitor, SAFAR, the national capital recorded an Air Quality Index of 343 this morning which falls under the very poor category.
The SAFAR said the surface winds are calm during the morning hours, but likely to improve during day time, leading to better ventilation. It has suggested people avoid all physical activity outdoors. It also suggested to asthmatic people to keep relief medicine handy.
