Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been completed for two years today. The scheme was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 24 February 2019 in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has been started with the objective of increasing the income of all farmer families across the country by providing support. On this occasion, on Wednesday, Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar rewarded the districts working fast in the direction of Aadhaar Authentication of farmers and paying the beneficiary farmers their profit amount directly in their bank accounts.

On completion of two years of successful implementation of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare organized the prize distribution function in Pusa, Haryana. In the award distribution ceremony, 5 states and 15 districts were awarded in various categories of awards by the Union Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.
State of Karnataka for 97 percent achievement in Aadhaar authentication work of beneficiary farmers and more than 90 percent achievement in Aadhaar based payment work
Maharashtra State for achievement up to 99 percent in direct certification work and up to 60 percent in grievance redressal
Uttar Pradesh was awarded for the registration work of 01 crore 53 lakh farmers during December 2018 to March 2019.
Arunachal Pradesh for 98 percent achievement in Aadhaar authentication work of farmers in the category of Northeast and Hill States
Himachal Pradesh was awarded for up to 75 percent achievement in direct certification work and 56 percent achievement in grievance redressal.

Nainital District of Uttarakhand State and Sirmaur District of Himachal Pradesh were awarded in the category of Northeast and Hill Region States for remarkable work in the direction of redressal of farmers’ complaints and resolution of problems.
Ahmadnagar district of Maharashtra state, Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh and Aurangabad district in Bihar state were awarded for remarkable work in the direction of direct certification.
Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh and Dehradun district of Uttarakhand were awarded in the category of Northeast and Hill Region States for remarkable work in the direction of direct certification.
Explain that under the Prime Minister Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, 6 thousand rupees are given every year to farmer families. This amount is transferred directly to the bank account of the beneficiaries through direct benefit transfer. Since the beginning of the scheme, more than one lakh 10 thousand crore rupees have been reached in the account of farmers.
