CRPF rescues 70-year-old woman lost inside Odisha forest for 3 days

The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jawans on Saturday rescued a 70-year-old woman from a forest in Odisha. The woman was rescued and brought to her house in Lodra village in Nuapada district.

The woman, identified as Mangal Bai, had reportedly left her home in Lodra village in Nuapada district after an argument with her family members.

For three days, she lived in the forest amid incessant rains, while her family kept looking for her. Her family has still not been able to understand how Mangal Bai managed to get deep into the forest.

As soon as the information was received by the CRPF, the personnel went into the forest and rescued the woman.

The team rendered first aid and carried the lady on a make-shift stretcher for 5Km and handed her to her family.
