Three time  Prime Minister of India

Years: 1996 (13 days) / 1998 to 1999 (11 months) / 1999 to 2004

He was External Affairs Minister in Prime Minister Moraji Desai Government in the year 1977 to 1979

He was elected for Loksabha for 10 times (Lucknow, UP) and he was in Rajyasabha for 20 years.

He retired from the active politics in the year 2009

He was founding member of Bhyarathiya Sana Sangh and he later formed BJP in the year 1980.

He was honoured with the highest civilian award Bharath Ratna in the year 2014. He also got Padma Vibhushan award in the year 1992

His Birthday has been marked as Good Governance Day by PM Modi in the year 2014

He was a great orator, writer, Poet and outstanding politician.

He was the bachelor and he has an adopted daughter, Namita.

Vajpayee was fond of Indian Music and Dance
