Festival and Duty: BSF Troops Celebrate Diwali on Border

Border Security Force (BSF) personnel deployed at Punjab border with Pakistan are celebrating the festival of lights with much fervor and gaiety. Vigilant as ever, they are keeping a sharp eye on the border as well.

BSF, Punjab Frontier Chief, Inspector General, Dr Atul Fulzele was in Gurdaspur sector, last evening, to celebrate with the troops. His visit infused high morale and festive spirit among them, reflecting the Force’s strong commitment to duty, tradition and camaraderie along the International border.

Cultural events are being organized in various sectors in which senior officers are participating. The IG lauded the dedication of the troops in guarding the nation during festivals, while being away from their families.
