The Election Commission has given consent to appoint Ambar Lakra as the new Deoghar SP. Earlier the Commission removed Ajit Peter Dungdung from the post of Deoghar SP and directed the Jharkhand government to send the panel of three IPS officers for the SP post. In reply to commission, the state government wrote a letter to the election commission and questioned over removal of Peter Dungdung.
