Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to arrive in New Delhi today on 2-day visit to India

Russian foreign minister Sergey Lavrov will arrive in New Delhi today on a two-day visit to India. The key focus is expected to be discussions on a payment system for New Delhi’s procurement of oil and military hardware from Moscow. It will be the highest-level visit from Russia to India after Moscow launched its military operations in Ukraine on February 24. Mr Lavrov will arrive in India after completing a two-day visit to China.
