Foreign investors pump in nearly Rs 2,000 cr into Indian capital markets so far in October

Foreign investors pumped in nearly 2,000 crore rupees into the Indian capital markets so far in October. According to the depositories data, foreign portfolio investors, or FPIs, invested 1,530 crore rupees into the equities and 567 crore rupees in the debt segment. This resulted into a net inflow of 1,997 crore rupees into the India capital markets in the October.

FPIs have been net buyers for two consecutive months and have invested 26,517 crore rupees in September and 16,459 crore rupees in August.
