BJP today criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for accusing the government of having failed to prevent the second wave of COVID-19. Talking to reporters, party spokesperson Sambit Patra alleged that whenever there is a turning point in the fight against COVID, Mr Gandhi and Congress have tried to do politics over it.
He accused Congress of trying to derail the battle against the pandemic. He said, yesterday India became only country which has vaccinated around 87 lakh people in a day.
Earlier, Mr Gandhi criticised the government for its alleged mismanagement of the Covid-19 crisis in the country and released a white paper over the issue.
