On 07.03.2021 at about 2230 hrs, on the basis of behavior detection, CISF surveillance & intelligence staff of IGI Airport, New Delhi noticed suspicious activities of two passengers later identified as Ugharej Roshan Jeevan, aged about 46 yrs. (Passport No.U8928641, Indian) and Ugheraj Asha Roshan, aged about 43 yrs (Passport No.U8929917, Indian), who were supposed to travel to Sharjah by Indigo airlines flight 6E-8213 (STD 0055 hrs).
On suspicion, both the passengers were kept under close watch through electronic and physical surveillance. During surveillance, it was observed that after completing immigration formalities and security clearance, they met with two other passengers near washroom No.34 in international retail area, where they exchanged some documents with malafide intention. They also tried to destroy some travel documents in washroom near boarding gate No.11B. Immediately, the matter was brought to the notice of boarding gate area in-charge Sub-Inspector Irfan Khan of CISF and senior officers of CISF.
Subsequently, both the passengers were intercepted by CISF and IB officials were informed. On joint interrogation by CISF and IB officials, the suspected passengers could not give satisfactory reply. Further on intensive enquiry and checking of their belongings, original boarding passes in the name of Ugharej Roshan Jeevan (PP No.M2532723, Indian) and Ugheraj Asha Roshan (M6125651, Indian) bound for Toronto by Air Canada flight No.AC-043 (STD 0050 hrs), and Original IDs (Aadhar card and Voter IDs) with the name of Davinder Jit Singh (Aadhar no.924318650956) and Patel Vikash Kumar (Aadhar no.831198435775) were recovered from their possession. It was found that they were carrying duel boarding passes and fake IDs/passports. Thereafter, the others two passengers who exchanged their documents with them were also identified as Ugharej Roshan Jeevan (PP No P5426793, Nationality-Indian ) and Ugheraj Asha Roshan (P5426790, Nationality Indian), who had checked-in and cleared immigration for Chicago via Toranto by Air Canada flight No.AC-043 (STD 0050 hrs), along with boarding passes for Sharjah with same name in Indigo flight 6E-8213 (STD 0055 hrs), on tourist VISA for UAE were also intercepted.
Immediately, the matter was informed to Immigration Officials after due formalities. Later, all four passengers along with their documents were handed over to Immigration Officials for further action in the matter.
