Iran has become more assertive in the US with Biden becoming President. On Sunday, Iran’s supreme religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei warned that we will not resume nuclear commitments until the US ends the sanctions. In fact, Iran is feeling that under Biden’s term the US can implement the nuclear deal again.

Biden also indicated in his speeches before the presidential election that he could rejoin the nuclear deal with Iran. Earlier Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said that Iran needs to work to reduce sanctions. Iran will support it if sanctions are lifted in a correct, intelligent, Iranian-Islamic and dignified manner.
These remarks by two of Iran’s top leaders indicate that they are very hopeful of the Biden administration.
