Union Minister Prakash Javadekar expresses happiness over India ranking in top 50 for Global Innovation Index

Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has expressed happiness that India ranked in top 50 for the first time in the Global Innovation Index released by World Intellectual Property Organisation. 

In a tweet, Mr Javadekar said that New India is becoming Innovative India under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. India’s ranking rose to 48 in 2020 from 81 in 2015.
