In Nepal, at least 17 people were killed and 10 others injured in a bus accident in Arghakhanchi district of Province no. 5.
The accident occurred this evening when a bus skidded off the road and fell around 250 meters in Sandhikharka (सन्धिखर्क) area of Arghakhanchi district.
Nepal Police spokesperson of Province no. 5 Nabraj Pokharel told our Kathmandu correspondent that rescue and relief operation is underway and 17 bodies have been recovered so far. He said, injured have been rushed to Butwal for treatment. The ill-fated bus was on its way to Butwal.
