Central Board for Film Certification, CBFC today clarified that the film Bahattar Hoorain, 72 Hoorain was granted ‘A’ certification in 2019. The film’s trailer is under due process and examined following the guidelines issued under Cinematograph Act. The board has termed the media reports circulating in this regard as Misleading.
It said that certain sections of the media are claiming that the Central Board of Film Certification has refused the certification for the film and its trailer. It further stressed that the applicant was asked for requisite documentary submissions under intimation and upon receipt of the same, certification was granted. A show cause notice communicating the modifications was issued to the filmmaker and the response is pending.
